I generally like Demons, but I never give them horns, tails, or red skin. That's the Devil steriotype. As for Demons, I would just call them Angels who lost their blessed feathers. Take a gander through my gallery to see.
As for the picture, damn, I love your lineart. The shading with pencil is so well done. The anatomy is nearly perfect, his chest looks a bit small. But it could just be that he is so thin. I'm not all too sure that the blood would be on the wings. Unless the rope is that tight. There isn't much blood flowing through the wings and the feathers are so thick it would be hard to penitrate. The hair is very well done, but if he was a 'demon', wouldn't it be a little... dirtier?
Anyways, enough constructive critism, I love this peice whether there are small errors or not. I must Fav it.

It's a beautifully detailed and rendered. Especially with my current fallen-angel-fiendish-fettish. Awesome.
His anatomy is great, the pose, the bound wings--everything. I'm not too sure 'bout the glowing eyes, but god, his hands--blood-stained insane-ness. My friend'll love this one. Kudos.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
